Even in a big city like Antwerp, you can find little gems like this fairytale house. It’s located right next to the botanical garden, and houses a Michelin-starred restaurant famous for their dessers. The restaurant is called “Het Gebaar” and if you want one of Roger Van Damme’s famous dessers, this is the place to be.

As a writer, I tend to see the beauty in everything. Spring is therefore one of the best seasons to get inspired. Seeing nature come alive again is truly mesmerizing. The sakura trees in particular, as they are most famous in Japan, where my latest novel Pachinko is situated.
